Skin MD Shielding Lotion-CLOSED

I am always looking for new skin care products to try out. I used to have very oily skin and bad acne while in my teens. Now that I am 40, I have combination skin, which makes it kind of hard to get moisturizers that soften but don’t leave it greasy feeling and make me break out. During the winter, the skin on my legs, arms and chest gets very dry and flaky and I constantly have to apply moisturizers just to get rid of the itching. Then I saw people talking about Skin MD, so I contacted them and was given the chance to try out two of their lotions.
Skin MD Shielding Lotion is unique because you can actually use it on your entire body safely and without any breakouts. I have never found a lotion like this before. Did you know skin can get addicted to moisturizers? It will stop moisturizing on its own because it is relying on added moisturizer, a lot like lip balms do. Here is a good description of the new shielding lotions from their website:

The lotion is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, fragrance free, colorant free, and paraben free. It contains aloe, which is known as a healing and anti-inflammatory plant, vitamin E, which nourishes and protects, Chamomile, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and calming, Arnica Montana Flower, also an anti-inflammatory and prevents bruising. You can also get it with SPF 15, and has been used to treat psoriasis, eczema, and hypo (low) or hyper (high) thyroid. You can get a sample to try it out for yourself. My Opinion:
I must be more daring than most because the first place I tried this lotion was on my face. You only need to use a VERY LITTLE bit because it goes a long way. Usually my face feels tight and almost hurts after washing so I absolutely need to use a moisturizer. It was light, not greasy and went on smoothly. My face instantly felt better, seriously! It was like it was saying, aaaaggghhhh, thank you, that feels so good. My face is now super soft, no breakouts and is starting to feel smooth. I haven’t used it as much on my body as on my face (my face is greedy like that), but it is impressive how soft your skin feels after applying. The best way to describe it is smooth and soft and refreshed. I have loved using it and plan on continuing to use it.
