Update Your First Aid Kit

A First Aid kit carries the normal bandages, band-aids, tape, etc but when I found out about ABC Gauze (advanced bleeding control), I knew we needed to update! What is ABC Gauze? It is an all natural, collagen-like substance in a bandage that stops bleeding fast. When it comes in contact with blood, it turns into a clear gel that expands to create pressure, and seals the wound off. For more severe bleeding, you can fold the bandage to create more layers. Our Opinion:
Since MH works in Forestry, this is almost a necessity, he is always getting cuts. This bandage does as it says, stops the bleeding fast. It is much better than regular bandages and costs around the same. It can be trimmed to fit and it’s easy to remove. We would definitely recommend everyone keep a supply of these bandages.
