Burt’s Bees Natural Acne Solutions

Last month I received a new product from BZZ Agent, Burt’s Bees-Natural Acne Solutions. I got the purifying gel cleanser and targeted spot treatment to try out. There are four products in this line: the cleanser, pore refining scrub, daily moisturizing lotion, and the spot treatment.
These products have been clinically proven to reduce and prevent acne. Some of the natural ingredients are:
- willow tree bark
- beet root extract
- calendula
- fruit acid complex
- borage extract
- evening primrose extract
- golden seal extract
- jojoba beads
- hops extract
- lemongrass extract
- tea tree extract
In 2008, the Natural Products Association worked with Burt’s Bees and other leaders in natural personal care to launch the Natural Standard and Seal, the only national seal that certifies personal care products as natural — if you see it on a label, you can feel comfortable knowing that the product you’ve chosen is truly natural
My Opinion:
You don’t need to use much because a little goes a long way. The cleanser cleaned my face without making it feel tight and dry and was easy to rinse off. I have combination skin and usually break out along my jawline and have a very oily forehead. I haven’t gotten quite as many pimples as before and my forehead is just as oily as ever. The spot treatment helped to get rid of some of the redness and may have helped the pimple heal faster. I actually didn’t have to use it much. I like Burt’s Bees products and the fact they are natural. Another positive is you can purchase it at stores and it doesn’t cost a lot.
